Windows Server 2008

Es el nombre del sistema operativo para servidores de Microsoft. 

Es el sucesor de Windows Server 2003. 

Al igual que Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 se basa en el núcleo Windows NT 6.0. 

Una segunda versión, denominada Windows Server 2008 R2, ya ha salido al mercado.
